Horse Gives Birth and Cops Are Immediately Called

Some say a dog is man’s best friend. However, in Ben’s case, his mare Felicia was his best friend. She was the perfect horse, and they were inseparable, with a bond like no other. But soon, Ben’s world would come crashing down when the vet called the police on him. Ben had some big questions to answer. With a pregnant horse in his stable, the foal possibly in trouble, and police at his door, what was going to happen to them?

That day, when the vet called the police, Ben didn’t know what to do. His mind was racing with thoughts. What was wrong with his horse? Was he in trouble? Why did the police need to come to his stables? He would soon find out when the cops arrived in just a few minutes.

The police turned to Ben and said, ‘Come with us, sir.’ When Ben heard those words, he turned to the officers and was so confused. He was just concerned for his horse and didn’t really understand why they were there.

The cops looked Ben in the eyes. It was all starting to feel very serious. They told him, ‘It’s very important for you to be honest with us, sir.’ Ben felt very confused. He just wanted to focus on helping his horse… And now all this was happening.

Until this incident, Felicia had been the perfect horse. From the moment Ben saw her, he was in love. He always loved going to visit her in the stables. Better yet, he rarely had any concerns for her health. This was reassuring as he knew he’d never have to fork out much money on vet bills.

Because Felicia had such good health, Ben figured she would be perfect for birthing a foal. With no major health concerns, it seemed like everything would run smoothly, and it would be an easy pregnancy. And who wouldn’t want a baby Felicia running around?

Ben didn’t have a stallion of his own to breed with Felicia. He knew that finding the perfect one for his mare would be a little challenging. Felicia was special, and he thought finding a stallion like her would be impossible.

Ben started by reaching out to other horse owners in his community. He was hoping that they’d be able to help him find the perfect stallion for Felicia. Hopefully, he would find one with some really good genes, too.

After months and months of searching, the stallion and Felicia were finally introduced to one another. It didn’t take long before Ben was sure that Felicia was pregnant. He took Felicia to the vet so that they could confirm it. The vet checked Felicia and quickly confirmed that she was pregnant. Ben was over the moon – it was such incredible news. He couldn’t believe that his perfect Felicia was expecting a baby foal. His plan had finally come into place.

Ben and Felicia were like best friends. He spent so much time with her and knew her behaviors and personality like the back of his hand. So, he was concerned for her welfare when she started to act a little off. A few months into her pregnancy, Felicia acted a little differently. Ben soon noticed that something was weird about her. She didn’t seem like the same perfect mare she had always been. Just like anyone would be, Ben was worried about her.

So, how exactly did Ben know something was wrong? Well, Felicia was acting totally different from her usual self. She became really sleepy. She was always in her stable, rarely leaving. Felicia couldn’t bring herself to walk, not even with Ben by her side. As well as this newfound sleepiness, Felicia’s appetite completely changed, too. She could typically eat quite a lot, but that wasn’t the case anymore. Slowly, she began to eat less and less. For any pet owner, that would be really concerning.

Anyone concerned about their pet would call the vet right away. So, that’s exactly what Ben did. He called the vet and asked for their expert advice on this predicament. Ben explained all of Felicia’s weird behaviors recently, hoping for some reassurance. Well, reassurance is exactly what he got over the phone. The vet told him not to worry about Felicia’s symptoms one bit. He said that large animals often undergo these huge changes when pregnant. It is just what their bodies do.

Even though Ben had doubts about their advice, he felt reassured by what the vet said. After all, you would absolutely believe what the vet was telling you. It’s their job, and they are the experts. Why would you doubt it? Ben was reluctant, but he soon took this advice on board. He knew that he had to stop worrying about it. This was really normal behavior. Felicia was just going through many changes and acting as any other big animal would.

Despite displaying many concerning symptoms, Ben tried to put his mind at ease and stay calm. To distract himself, he started to prepare for the foal’s arrival. He needed something to keep his mind busy. So, the process began. Ben started making room for another horse in the stable. In addition, he had to make sure that he had enough food for them both. It was quite an exciting time for Ben, even with all that worry in the back of his head.

Ben knew it wouldn’t be long until Felicia gave birth to the foal. Felicia was getting bigger and bigger as the days went by. He could feel that the foal would come any day now. It’s a good thing he was prepared for the big day. Just to make sure that he was fully prepped, he decided to call the vet again. He was so eager to welcome the new arrival to his stable family, and Ben asked them quite a few questions about what to expect.

Before he knew it, the big day had come, and Felicia seemed ready to give birth. Ben was ready to act and help his perfect horse give birth. Felicia had started to show those signs that the vet had told Ben to keep an eye out for. He knew that she was gearing herself up to give birth any moment now. Ben couldn’t believe that the time was finally here. He was about to meet Baby Felicia and hoped it would be as perfect as its mother.

With the big moment surely coming soon, Ben was getting excited. As he sat with Felicia, he just had to wait patiently for her to be ready. All he could do was let the mare do her thing when she was ready. However, it soon felt like Ben had been waiting a little too long. It was becoming concerning. He began to think that something may not be right here. Why wasn’t anything happening? What was wrong with Felicia? Was she feeling okay?

At this point, Ben knew he had to call the vet. Luckily, he had kept his cell phone nearby in case of something like this. He could tell Felicia wouldn’t be able to do this alone. She needed help. As time passed, she became weaker and more agitated. Ben just didn’t want anything to happen to Felicia or the baby, so he called the vet. Luckily, the vet had some good advice to help Felicia.

Felicia and Ben had grown apart in the last few months. Because of Felicia’s discomfort, they couldn’t bond as much as they once did. He knew that she didn’t trust him as much as she used to before the pregnancy. Due to this distance, Ben was reluctant to try to lay her by her side. He didn’t know how she’d feel if he tried to move her. If he forced her to lie down, she may become angry. That could make the situation much worse.

Ben had to take things a little slow with Felicia. He spoke softly and gently, reassuring her that everything would be okay. Eventually, Ben managed to get her to lie down. It was a step in the right direction, but he had more to do. The first stage of the vet’s plan had gone smoothly, but now it was time to get Felicia on her side. The vet said it didn’t matter whether she lay on her left or right. He just said that he had to do it.

As he was looking at his mare’s bump, Ben noticed that it was an odd shape. Usually, they should be a pretty perfect round shape. However, this one was different. It looked like something was sticking out of the side of it. Ben thought this must be unusual for a horse. However, he didn’t know enough about horses and their pregnancies to know if he should be worried about this, so he called the vet again.

After listening to everything Ben said, the vet knew this was no ordinary pregnancy. It was a huge concern with all the recent behavior changes and now this oddly shaped bump. Something had to be done to help Felicia and the foal. The vet knew he had to get to the stables quickly. He needed to do an ultrasound on Felicia to determine what was happening, and it seemed to be the only way to help her right now.

Unfortunately, it was rush hour when the vet left to get to the stables. He needed to get to Ben and Felicia immediately, but he knew that couldn’t happen. The vet jumped into his car and immediately hit traffic. The vet rang Ben, panicking and saying that he may not be able to make it in time. There was no way he’d be able to get through this traffic any time soon. The cars were barely moving, and there were no shortcuts.

Ben did briefly think about trying to get Felicia into a horsebox and trying to meet them halfway. However, he soon realized he’d never be able to get her up, and it just wouldn’t work. It wouldn’t be safe for Felicia. To be honest, getting in a car would be a bad idea. Not only would he risk getting stuck in traffic, too, but there’d be nowhere to help her in the middle of the city. But Ben had one last trick up his sleeve.

With Plan B in full swing, the motorcyclist and the vet whizzed through rush hour and made their way to the stables. The vet quickly rushed to Felicia’s side as soon as they arrived. He began inspecting her before pulling out his ultrasound machine. The vet wanted to get a good look at Felicia’s bump. Like Ben, the vet hoped he would see a healthy foal inside Felicia. That’s all everyone was hoping for in this situation – just two happy and healthy horses.

The vet figured that Felicia might be a little nervous. After all, he was a stranger to her. Maybe she just needed to warm up to him a little. So, he took his time and slowly started to reassure the mare. Things like this work best when it is all on the horse’s terms. So, the vet let Felicia lead this. It worked wonders. Before long, the vet was able to get close enough and started the ultrasound.

The vet gave Ben two options. Either Ben could help administer the dose by Felicia’s side, or they could give her a heavier dose from further away. The problem was that both of these options had their pros and cons. To give her a shot from nearby, they were risking severe injury. Felicia could flip out and injure herself or the vet and Ben. However, further away, they might miss the chance of a perfect shot.

In the end, Ben knew he would have to decide quite quickly. After a quick debate, they opted for option number two. They figured it was best to sedate her from further away to avoid any unnecessary injuries. Time was ticking, and they needed to get started on this ultrasound. Felicia was becoming increasingly uncomfortable, and it was horrible to see her in so much pain. However, Felicia soon caught on to their plan.

Ben had to look away as the vet tried to sedate his beloved Felicia. Watching her be so on edge and uncomfortable was so hard. However, Ben soon snapped back into reality. The vet was calling him over. The vet had successfully sedated Felicia, so it was finally safe for them to approach her. Finally, they were able to begin their ultrasound examination. Ben felt so much relief but was worried about what they would find next.

At first, Ben was worried that the vet couldn’t hear a heartbeat. That would be concerning. He turned to face the vet, hoping to hear some answers. He was expecting to hear some horrible news about the state of Felicia and the foal. However, something even more weird happened instead. The vet stood up and slowly moved away from Felicia. He put down the ultrasound machine and told Ben they should step outside. At this moment, Ben was even more confused than before.

As you can imagine, Ben was in total panic mode now. The vet tried to talk to him, but Ben could barely hear him. He was so wrapped up in his thoughts and worries that he couldn’t focus on anything else. As every thought imaginable was running through his mind, he vaguely picked up on something the vet was saying. He quickly snapped back into reality. The vet told him that what he saw on the monitor was terrifying.

All Ben wanted to do was breed his horse. He just wanted a baby Felicia. And, now, the police had been called. They were literally on their way to his stable right now. None of it made any sense. He kept wondering why they had been called. What could have been so bad that the police needed to come? And what did the police know about horses? He didn’t quite understand what they could do to help Felicia.

Now, Ben questioned every decision he had made about Felicia throughout her life. He was questioning his behavior as a horse owner. However, the vet quickly brought him back down to Earth. Reality was slowly starting to kick in. The vet told Ben he would need to perform surgery on Felicia immediately. It was the only way she had a chance of surviving. However, he needed permission from the police first before he could begin operating.

The police officers helped the vet get Felicia ready for surgery. They’d given permission and were good to go. This was traumatic for Ben, who was watching from the sidelines. However, he had to trust that they were doing the right thing for Felicia. The bottom line was that he just wanted his mare to be okay. He didn’t care about the police, the drama, and whatever was inside her. Ben was hoping that she would survive this ordeal. It was incredibly stressful to watch.

Before anything, the police wanted to confirm who Ben was. They wanted to know that he was Felicia’s owner. Moreover, he was the one who instigated the mare’s pregnancy. Ben nodded and confirmed all of this to them. Ben was adamant not to get on the wrong side of the police, so he was happy to oblige. He was honest about the situation and told them everything they needed, hoping he would soon get some answers.

Now Ben was panicking more. Had he done something illegal in the process of impregnating Felicia? But the police quickly confirmed that everything he had done was legal. Well, legal on his end, that is. They quickly told Ben that something done during the process was illegal, but nothing he had done. The officers just wanted to know how much he knew about the process, so they pulled some mugshots and asked Ben if he recognized anyone.

Once Ben calmed down a bit, he looked closely at the mugshots in front of him. The police were persistent, so he was trying to focus on the matter. Was he able to recognize anyone in these pictures? They told him that whatever he answered could change the trajectory of this investigation. So, he tried to focus and make out these faces. Did he recognize them from anywhere? What did they have to do with Felicia’s situation?

After a while of continuously staring at this picture, Ben suddenly realized something. He took another look and soon figured out where he had seen this man before. However, following this realization, Ben was even more worried than he was before. Immediately, he started bombarding the police with questions. He wanted to know if Felicia would be okay, what about her baby, what would happen to this man, and, better yet, what this man had actually done.

Thankfully, the police soon realized that Ben had nothing to do with the illegal activity. He wasn’t associated at all with the criminal in question. Ben was so clueless about the situation they had to explain what had happened to Felicia. The officers told Ben that the criminal with the stallion was known for performing dodgy and botched procedures. The police were aware of him, but they hadn’t been able to catch him yet. They needed a baby foal as evidence.

Ben couldn’t believe the news he was hearing. He was, of course, destroyed by the news of what the criminal had done. But worse was the thought of losing both Felicia and the foal. What would he do if he suddenly lost them both? The police reassured Ben, telling him they believed they had caught it in time and were sure the surgery would be successful. Of course, none of this stopped Ben from worrying about the mother-daughter duo.

Of course, Ben still had a few questions about the whole ordeal. He wanted to know what would happen to the criminal. Were they going to be able to catch him? He wanted to make sure that he could never do this again. Ben also wanted to know if he could keep the foal. He was starting to worry that the police would need it for evidence. However, they said he would be allowed to keep the baby, which made both him and Felicia so happy.
